Terms of service
Terms for our website, customer portal and agreed digital services. The scope and price of each engagement are set out in your offer or service agreement.
The agreement
The supplier is Kveo, organisation number 937 282 400, Stord, Norway. Contact [email protected]; service support is available at [email protected] or in the portal.
These terms form part of a service agreement when they are included in an offer or otherwise agreed with you. Visiting the website or sending a contact enquiry does not in itself create a paid order. An individually agreed contract takes precedence over these general terms; mandatory law always applies.
Services and delivery
We provide website development, backend systems, hosting, IT operations, support and agreed API, AI and SMS services. Deliverables, milestones, dependencies, support hours and any service levels are agreed for each engagement. Additional work or changes to scope and price must be agreed.
You must provide the content, approvals, access and other input needed for delivery, and have authority to provide it. Delays or changes in that input may require an agreed adjustment to delivery dates.
Prices, billing and usage
Prices, currency, VAT treatment, billing intervals, due dates and any commitment period are stated in the accepted offer, order or invoice as applicable. Stripe may handle payments/subscriptions and Fiken may handle invoicing. Contact us promptly about an incorrect charge; statutory rights to dispute a claim are unaffected.
SMS and AI may be billed by usage or against an agreed credit plan. The applicable model, rates, included credit and overage rules are agreed for the service. With your own Anthropic key, Anthropic bills the AI usage directly; any separate Kveo service fee remains subject to your agreement. A request for additional AI credit does not itself add credit: it requires approval.
Accounts and acceptable use
Protect passwords, two-factor codes and API keys, and promptly report suspected misuse. Use only accounts, systems and data you are authorised to access. You may not use the services for unlawful content, spam, fraud, malware, unauthorised access or interference with other users.
You are responsible for a lawful basis and necessary permissions for personal data you submit and for messages you send. Do not submit sensitive personal data, passwords or secrets in support messages or AI prompts unless a suitable secure process and agreement are in place.
Providers, AI and SMS
We use Gigahost for hosting, Cloudflare for DNS and enabled traffic/security features, Microsoft for email/sign-in, Stripe and Fiken for billing, GatewayAPI for SMS, Anthropic for AI, and Better Stack for monitoring. The privacy policy describes these and the website’s other providers. Relevant third-party licence or acceptable-use conditions are identified as part of the service agreement; having a link here does not incorporate every provider’s terms into your contract.
AI responses can be incorrect or incomplete. Review outputs before relying on or publishing them. SMS delivery depends on operators, recipient devices and network conditions. Neither AI nor SMS should be your sole channel for emergency or safety-critical decisions.
Google sign-in and APIs
Where the Google Calendar integration is enabled for a booking system we built, the business’s administrator may connect it through Google Auth Platform. You must use a Google account you are authorised to connect, follow Google’s applicable terms, and approve only the permissions you intend to give. We request only the permissions the disclosed calendar feature needs (openid, userinfo.email, calendar.calendarlist.readonly and calendar.events). Google’s services and consent flow are supplied by Google and may be changed, restricted or unavailable.
You may disconnect in the application or revoke access at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions at any time, and ask us to delete Google user data as described in the privacy policy. Disconnecting stops the calendar feature and does not by itself end a paid service agreement. We may disconnect the integration when necessary for security, legal compliance, Google policy compliance or at your request. Our handling of Google user data, including the Limited Use requirements, is described in the privacy policy at https://kveo.no/en/privacy.
Content, ownership and personal data
You retain your rights to the content and data you provide, and grant us the access and use necessary to deliver the agreed service. Ownership and licences for commissioned work, existing components and third-party software are specified in the offer or agreement; third-party and open-source licences continue to apply.
Where we process personal data on your behalf, a separate data processing agreement must define instructions, security, subprocessors and return/deletion. The privacy policy explains our processing as controller.
Availability and responsibility
Maintenance, network failures and provider outages can affect availability. Guaranteed uptime, response times, backups and recovery objectives apply only where specifically agreed. Report faults promptly so we can investigate and remedy them.
Each party is responsible for fulfilling its contractual obligations. Liability and remedies follow the individual agreement and applicable law. These general terms do not introduce a blanket exclusion of responsibility or limit rights that cannot legally be waived.
Duration, cancellation and suspension
Renewal, commitment periods and notice periods follow your service agreement. Contact [email protected] to cancel or clarify the end date and any final usage charges. Cancelling a payment method alone does not terminate a service agreement.
Access may be restricted when necessary to address a security threat, unlawful use or material breach. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason and give an opportunity to resolve it. Data export, handover and deletion are arranged according to the service agreement, data processing agreement and mandatory retention duties.
Consumers, changes and disputes
Services are primarily offered to businesses. If you purchase as a consumer, mandatory consumer protections, including applicable withdrawal and complaint rights, take precedence. Required pre-contract information and withdrawal instructions must be supplied for the particular purchase; this page does not remove those rights.
Changes to these terms apply to new agreements. Changes to an existing agreement require the notice and agreement process permitted by that agreement and applicable law. Norwegian law applies subject to mandatory protections. Contact us first to resolve a disagreement; unresolved disputes follow the applicable statutory dispute-resolution rules.
